Dr. Joshua Marcus received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose, California. He currently resides in the Santa Cruz mountains, which remind him of growing up in the mountains of Utah.
Dr. Marcus uses a specialized Individual Approach. This approach to wellness means looking for the underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Marcus is able to help his patients accelerate and maintain their journey to good health. In addition to diagnosing and treating spinal injuries Dr. Marcus has a secondary specialty in treating pain and injuries associated with the extremities; from shoulders, elbows, wrists, and hands, to hips, knees, ankles, and feet, he is able to help his patients head to toe. Dr. Marcus’ clinical work focuses on treating his patients with individualized care that helps each person reclaim their health through evidence based practices and procedures.
Dr. Marcus’ hobbies include: rock climbing, golfing, kayaking, hang-gliding, surfing, swimming, disc-golfing, playing video games, and cooking gourmet meals for his friends and family. He is excited to start stand up paddle boarding with the dogs Kori and Lyra.
